This half term we are looking at addition and subtraction. Today we started off by adding two three-digit numbers with no exchanges. First, we made each number using the Base10 resources thinking carefully about the place value of each digit.Then we added each column up, remembering to always start at the ones column. Tomorrow we will move on to drawing our own Base10 before using numbers in the column method.
