What a contrast of an afternoon Year 4 had today compared to Early Years’ morning at Forest School. We were SOOOO happy we were well prepared for every kind of weather, because we weren’t expecting the weather to change so much! At first, it was incredibly warm, full of sunshine and sunglasses! Then within minutes, came the darkest cloud together with loud roars of thunder and the BIGGEST hailstones we’ve ever seen!
The children made their own garlic bread with Phil, worked together to build dens (which were very needed when the hailstones arrived!) created lots of cold drinks and food in the mud kitchen and one of their favourite activities was jumping in the deep muddy puddles!
They had so much fun and a lot of them said it’s been their favourite trip to Forest School yet!
