As we all are aware, it is so vital to attend school everyday. When we miss days at school we are not only missing important learning but also essential fun. Sometimes when we get up we may feel a little under the weather, however most of the time when we arrive at school and see our teachers and friends we feel better. We also know that if we are poorly at school our teachers will definitely take care of us and, if we are still unwell as the day progresses, contact our parents and carers.
Since Mrs Lain introduced the attendance award, we, in year 3 have been really really wanting to win it. The last week of half term, we had a good feeling that we would achieve it….. and guess what? WE WON! Not only were we excited to get the cup and a treat, but that extra playtime on Friday afternoon was just what we all needed. As you can see from the photos the children were overjoyed. Let’s see if we can achieve it again very soon Year 3. Well done and keep it up.
