One of the phonics activities this week was a word hunt. Our phonics lesson focused on the trigraph ‘igh’. Putting on our coats and heading outdoor we took our clip boards with our picture and word sheet and started to look for words that contained ‘igh’ such as light, bright, night. etc. We then wrote the word or ticked the picture.
