Reverend Yvonne led us in our first chapel service this year. We learnt the meaning of Epiphany and that it is symbolic of when the Wise Men visited Jesus after he was born. Reverend Yvonne discussed how we are all sheep as Jesus offered us a new life and is leading us into freedom. We then took a moment of silence where we thought about things we are sorry for and asked God for forgiveness. The children also shared their ideas of what they pray for and most of us linked this to our school values, LIGHTS. We shared ‘Peace be with you,’ and instead of shaking hands, we bowed to one another, and each child received their blessing.
