As part of our Design and Technology topic this half term, we have been learning about the journey of the manufacture of cotton and looking at bag designs of Cath Kidston, Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood. We then designed our own tote bags considering the dimensions of fabric needed and stitches needed to join the materials most securely. We then created pattern piece and used running stitch to create our bag and add handles.
