As part of our fitness lesson, this half term year 6 will be learning Yoga. This is going to help not only with our fitness but also our mental health and mindfulness.
We began by learning about the various Yoga poses and how they help our bodies and minds. As you can see we have fabulous balance. We were able to use the techniques to stretch and relax, whilst having fun and learning how Yoga can help with our flexibility, fitness and improve strength. The slow movements and breathing also helps increase our blood flow and warm up muscles.
