Last week, six children were Baptised in school in front of their St. Aidan’s family. The children, along with their parents, took the decision to be Baptised, to start their journey of faith.
The children were anointed with Chrism oil, a symbol of receiving the Holy Spirit and they were blessed with holy water as a symbol of starting a new life with Jesus.
Finally, the children were each given a Baptism candle. This is a symbol that Jesus, the light of the world is now with them on their faith journey.
