This half term, Year 1 are focusing on invasion games in PE. Over the next few weeks we will be working on throwing, catching and rolling with accuracy as well as introducing simple tactics to our games.
This week we focused on underarm throwing and catching and the children had an extra challenge of attempting to catch the ball in an upside cone. We called this game ice cream cone catch! The children had brilliant accuracy and determination throughout and enjoyed working as a team to be successful.
