In Maths, our new topic we will be covering is ‘Multiplication and Division’.
Last week, we focused on multiplication, where the children first learnt how to multiply 2 digits by 2 digits, before multiplying 3 and 4 digits by 2 digits.
This week, the children have focused on division. The children were already familiar with the ‘bus stop’ method, which they used to show dividing a 2 and 3 digit number by a 1 digit number. They then moved onto dividing a 4 digit number by a 1 digit number towards the end of the week, before tackling problem solving questions involving steps.
