This week in our DT lesson, we finished creating our moving toys.
Along the way, we faced some hiccups with the use of different cardboard materials. We decided that because a lot of them weren’t working the way we’d like, that we’d group together as a class and help each other to problem solve.
Some of the children found that using a thick wooden cam was better than a cardboard one. Others found that standing your cam up rather than laid flat, made the linear move up and down much better.
The children took home their finished and unfinished creations tonight so they can adapt them at home.
