School Council Elections

This week, children throughout Key Stage 2 have presented their School Councillor manifestos.

The children considered what qualities were important to represent their class on the St Aidan’s School Council and enjoyed creating campaigns and presentations. The children were incredibly creative in their ideas to contribute to making St Aidan’s a happy and safe place to be, and they delivered confident and self-assured speeches to their class.

On Friday morning, the children took part in a ballot in the hall so that our new school councillors can be elected democratically – just as our Members of Parliament were in the UK government!

Well done and thank you to all children who put themselves forward … any one of you would be a fantastic representative of your class!

We look forward to finding out who has been successful next week.
