In ART this half term, Year 3 have been learning about the artist; Georges Seurat, a French artist who is famous for pointillism.
We used photographs of landmarks of our home town such as; Saltwell Towers, The Tyne Bridge and The Angel of the North to create our own piece of pointillism artwork.
We used primary colour paints, as well as using these paints to mix and create other colours together to create our Art. For the dots, we used cotton buds to create the pointillism effect.
We took our time and lots of care creating our artwork and are so proud with how they have turned out! What do you think?
