Year 6 pupils worked in pairs to apply the vocabulary and phrases they had learned in their Spanish lessons by taking part in a short role-play conversation entitled ‘At the Doctors’. One pupil took the role of the patient while the other acted as the doctor, using appropriate language to ask and answer questions about symptoms, concerns, and treatment.
This activity provided an opportunity for pupils to practise speaking and listening skills, build confidence in using new vocabulary, and engage in meaningful communication in a realistic context.
