This half term, Year 2 have started a new PE unit called Invasion Games. In their first lesson, the children focused on developing their dodging skills, learning to keep their heads up, stay alert and move quickly on the balls of their feet to avoid the opposition. They then practised the correct underarm throwing technique before enjoying a range of catching games in pairs and small groups. The children showed great enthusiasm, worked hard and had lots of fun developing their skills.
