Reverend Yvonne led us in our first chapel service this year. We spoke about the changes that are happening around Autumn time and the seeds and conkers that we may find on the floor. We listened to a Bible reading about seeds falling on the path. Just as a planted seed starts to grow, the word of God starts to deepen and grow within a person. In the story the seeds were quickly eaten up by birds which represents people who hear the message of God but then it is immediately lost. The children reflected on this and thought about things they are sorry for and spoke about the importance of listening to the word of God. We read some prayers before each child received their blessing.
