In English, Year 6 have been learning about the work of William Shakespeare, with a particular focus on the play Macbeth.
The children have explored the story by watching a short video outlining the plot, reading and discussing the text, and using images to sequence the key events in the correct order. More recently, the children have deepened their understanding of the story through drama and role-play activities, acting out different scenes and exploring the thoughts, feelings and motivations of the characters. These activities have helped to develop their comprehension of the story while building confidence in speaking, listening and performance skills.
