This week, six girls from Year 5 represented our school in a 5-A-side football tournament at Powerleague. We are very lucky to have this fantastic facility in such a short walk from our school. The girls competed against lots of other schools in Gateshead and were able to show off the skills that they have been developing within PE. The team demonstrated a fantastic attitude and sportsmanship throughout and felt very proud to represent St Aidan’s School. Overall the girls won one, drew one and lost one game.
