This weeK reception have been comparing sizes, mass and capacity. Earlier this week, we had a delivery from the zoo, the animals were inside different boxes. Reception ordered the boxes from smallest to largest. Reception had a shock when Mr Stamp was hiding in one of the boxes. The children agreed that he was in the tallest box. Then a snake leapt out at the children, luckily he went back in his short box.
“On Wednesday the children baked biscuits. We measured out the ingredient and compared which ingredient were heavier and lighter than the other. The children loved mixing, pouring, scooping and sieving to make their masterpiece biscuits.
Mmmmmmmmmmm, delicious!” said Reception.
They kindly shared their biscuits with Nursery.
