A few weeks ago, Miss Greenwell completed some computer training on a new coding program called ‘VEX123’ at Nissan Sunderland. Once training was complete, we were able to take the VEX123 robot packs back into school to use.
Yesterday in our Computing lesson, we decided to use our new robots alongside the BeeBots that we already have in school. We were so excited to be the first class in school to try them out!
First, Miss Greenwell talked about how the new robots and coders work alongside each other, before explaining how instructions for the robots work. We then got into groups of 3 and had a go at coding ourselves.
We will be learning more about VEX123 in Spring 1 with Miss Greenwell and Miss Dunn. We can’t wait to have another go!
