Today we took part in some activities in the Chapel and the forest school for our Christmas Prayer Space in order to reflect on the Christmas story and the birth of Jesus. We started off in the Chapel where we thought about how the star had helped the wise men to guide them to where Jesus was. The children then thought about what support they needed and wrote on stars. We also used playdough to represent what we are thankful for and most of us were thankful for our families and friends. In the forest school, we made paper chains to represent our hopes and dreams. Finally, we wrote the word ‘sorry’ in the sand as we thought about what we are sorry for.
