During advent we look forward to the birth of Jesus but also take time to reflect. Today we explored the chapel and outdoor classroom and took part in a range of activities. We thought about what hopes and dreams we have for the future and created paper chains to link them. Some children thought about short term goals such as being able to swim, while others thought about their career aspirations. Another activity involved the children thinking about what guidance they want in their lives such as how to be a better friend. As part of making something with playdough that you are thankful for, one child made a dove as they were thankful for peace in our country. In the sand children had to think about what they were sorry for.
