Today Nursery had a visit from Sally from Little Folk NE. Sally is a makaton trainer and runs pre-school sessions teaching children makaton signs through music, stories and sensory play. The children had lots of fun and were fantastic at using the signs in the songs we did. Sally will be coming into Nursery to work with us over the next six weeks and we are really looking forward to our next session already. This week we will be practising the signs for hello, goodbye and friend.
