Sharing our beliefs

At the start of Religious Education today, two of our Islamic children shared some of their beliefs with their peers. One child showed us how females dress in a hijab. The children then told us lots of facts such as they are not allowed to eat meat of any animal that has long canines such as lion, dog, cat, pig, tiger or shark. They were allowed to eat birds, octopus, fish and horse. One of the children also showed us how to pray which we joined in with. It was a great opportunity for the class to ask questions about another religion.
