Today was number day and was lots of fun. Reception Class were fantastic at reading number sentences and finding numbers around the indoor and outdoor environment. We read a story called ‘ One is a snail and ten is a crab.’ By April Sayre and Jeff Sayre. Painting our hands we created the snail and the crab from the story. After dinner we went on a number sentence hunt. Pass the parcel was a very popular game, to win the prize we had to read the number sentence and give the correct answer.
