On Wednesday, Year 4 led our collective worship for our school and parents. Our collective worship was all based around ‘The Sermon on the Mount’ in which Jesus tells his followers to ‘shine like lights in the world’. We began by discussing the significance of light in cultures and religions around the world. We then read the bible story and thought about how our school values (Love, Forgiveness, Courage, Hope, Respect and Wisdom) reflect the message of Jesus. We finished with a song celebrating light. We hope everyone enjoyed our collective worship, we were so glad so many of our parents and carers were able to join us.
