This half term Year 2 have learnt about the good news Jesus brings through different stories from the Gospels. In the story of the Ten Lepers, Jesus taught us to be a friend to the friendless and the importance of saying thank you. Jesus taught us the importance of forgiveness and saying sorry.
We thought about how the good news affects us in our lives today and whether or not the good news matters to people who are not Christians. This week we thought about how we can show the good news in our day to day life. We created a conscience alley to debate whether Jesus’ good news applies to people who are not Christian. At the end of the debate the whole class agreed that all of the messages from Jesus’ good news can apply to all people.
