As a whole school art project, to celebrate the Angel of the North’s 25th birthday. We visited the angel on a school trip. When we arrived, we spent time using our art skills to learn more about the amazing, Gateshead angel. Picking up our charcoals, pencils, iPads and selected natural materials off to work we went. We created some sketches, charcoal rubbings, photos and created art work, using sticks, grass and leaves.
Today Nursery and Reception class welcomed our parents, families a friends into school, for an Angel of the North stay and play morning. We made birthday cards, play dough angels, stick angels and brick angels.
