This week we have celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Angel of the North. On Wednesday we were lucky enough to go to the Angel with Year 3 to sing her ‘happy birthday’ and enjoy a birthday cake with her. Throughout the week we have also completed activities in school based around the Angel. In Art, we used the style of John Coatsworth to create our own watercolours of the Angel. In History, we looked at how the site of the Angel of the North has changed over the years and in English we wrote a setting description from the perspective of the Angel.
