We have thoroughly enjoyed celebrating World Book Week in Year 4 this week. Throughout the week we have completed different activities all around our favourite books and reading. On Thursday, we participated in a live World Book Day lesson. In the lesson, we had to think of our favourite book and character and give them a twist such as Harry Potter set in space!
On Friday, we were able to come into school dresses as our favourite characters. We had Scooby Doo, Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter and Little Red Riding Hood! In the morning, we loved going down to reception to read with some of the younger children in our school and in the afternoon, we invited our parents and carers to read in our classroom. It has been a fantastic week and we have loved sharing our love of reading with each other.
