On Tuesday morning we were all welcomed on awaking by covering of snow. By the end of the day it had melted! The pictures show this. It doesn’t look like it, bit I can promise you it was certainly the same day. In our mile or marathon, we, as a class, risk assessed the MUGA and all decided that it was safe to complete the activity. We ran, skipped, side stepped, and jumped to complete our activity with great enthusiasm and vigour.
In the afternoon, we joined up with Year 4 to complete Pirate’s Cove obstacle course. After a few laps of the course, we were paired up with Year 4 children. 1 of us was blind folded and needed to be led by the Year 4 child. We put a great amount of trust in our Year4 friends, but thankfully they were fabulous guides and got us across all the obstacles with accurate instructions.

The last activity of the day was a class interhouse tennis match. We had rallies between the teams with some wonderful lobs and backhanded shots. Another successful, entertaining, energetic day. All the children completed the activities showing resilience, team work and great encouragement to each other.
