On Wednesday, four Year 3 and 4 children we lucky enough to be invited to Kelvin Grove Primary School to attend an Able Science Day. The day was all about the different layers of the rainforest and the animals that live in each layer. They learnt lots about the different climates in the rainforest and the plants that grow there. They were then shown some of the different animals that might live in each habitat and were able to touch and even hold some of them, including a snake, stick insect, millipede and a frog!
