On Friday, we thought about and reflected on the journey of Jesus on Good Friday as he was sentenced to death, died on the cross and was resurrected three days later when we took part in our Stations of the Cross collective worship. Looking at the artwork created by children from Reception to Year 6, we discussed the pain that Jesus must have felt, but talked about how he was courageous and faithful in following God’s plan for him. We reflected in particular on our school value of Forgiveness, and thought about how we can follow Jesus’ example and show forgiveness to others.
