This week has been safety week and today we learnt a little bit about first aid and what to do in an emergency. We acted out a scenario where we found one of our family member unconscious on the kitchen floor with kitchen utensils around them, and broken glass. We were told we must shout first to see if our adult would wake themselves up then to move to a safe place near the adult and try waking them by touch. If they still did not respond we were to shout for help. Next we should phone the emergency service.
