On Wednesday 5th July, Year 5 were lucky enough to visit a phenomenal event called STEMfest. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Manufacturing. Each of the sections was based on these. Some of the most popular events were virtual reality welding in the manufacturing zone and 10 years of STEM where you got to learn a new code and hack the school website! We also went in the planetarium and watched a film about the possibilities of living on another planet. We all had a wonderful day.
