This half term we have been completing the ‘I Gelati’ topic in Italian in which we have learnt lots of vocabulary to help us to order an ice cream! First, we learnt how to say lots of different flavours, looking closely at how the determiners change depending on whether the noun is masculine or feminine. We then learnt how to say ‘I would like..’, the vocabulary for cones and tubs and how to order different numbers of scoops. As a treat in the final week, Miss McAllister brought in some ice creams so we could put our Italian skills to the test! It was great to put everything we had learnt together to order our own ice cream in Italian.
