Singing Club

This half term, singing club have met on Wednesdays after school. The children have enjoyed playing games to get to know each other and to build confidence, as well as playing warm up games to prepare our bodies and voices for singing.

As a group we learnt a range of different songs, such as He Lives in You, Happy and Try Everything. We sometimes challenged ourself by singing in two parts.

For our final Singing Club this half term we enjoyed performing our favourite song ‘Try Everything’ by Shakira for some of our teachers. They were very impressed! The children really enjoyed performing in front of an audience. As a special treat, the children also enjoyed singing some of their favourite songs on karaoke.

Singing Club will continue next half term every Wednesday after school with Mrs Spoors. We will be learning lots of Christmas songs that we will perform out in the community as well as in school and for our parents. There are a limited number of places available so get signed up quickly to secure your place.
