We have had a wonderful afternoon end to our busy week in Nursery!
After our lunch time play, we joined Reception class in their classroom and enjoyed lots of play time alongside our older friends. We played doctors in the home area where we checked Miss Greenwell’s temperature and heart rate and also took the house dog to the Vet and groomers. We also cooked some delicious hot cross buns with cherries on top and gave them to our friends with orange juice. On the carpet, we watched a movement video where we had to listen to instructions given and then do this ourselves. It really tested our balancing skills! At the end of time with Reception class, we even found a tiny spider crawling along the floor.
When we returned back to Nursery, we split off into small groups and played some turn taking games with our friends.
We are also really looking forward to next week because our new Nursery friends will be starting! We will make them feel so welcome.
