In our RE lesson this week we have looked at the story of ‘Creation’.
We looked inside of our RE ‘Chatterbox’ and found a Bible and a packet of Jelly, alongside 2 friends Tessa and Tim. We found out that Tessa really liked making and tasting jelly and that Tim likes jellyfish. We spoke about when God created us, he also created everything else in the world, including our favourite things.
We watched a video about jellyfish and spoke about where they live and what they look like. Some of our comments included ‘electric’ and ‘wobbly’. We then decided to make our own delicious jelly! We emptied the contents of the jelly mix into a bowl and Miss Greenwell added in half a pint of hot water. We then added in half a pint of cold water and gave it a big mix. The jelly mixture had to set, so we put this in the fridge and then enjoyed tasting the jelly the following morning. It was so yummy! Some of us even made our own jellyfish out of paper plates, coloured tissue paper, sequins and chunky crayons.
