On Friday, ten girls from Year 5/6 took part in a 6 a-side football competition based at Powerleague Gateshead. 23 other schools were involved with over 250 girls taking part! Not only at the competition but during training sessions in school, the girls have shown great determination, courage and resilience. They have worked together as team, adapted to new positions on the pitch and encouraged each other throughout. The competition was fierce but the girls managed to score and save many goals, securing a draw in each game with only one defeat.
We are so proud of the girls who did a fantastic job of representing our school.
