In English this week, we found out that our next fairytale we would be focusing on this half term would be ‘Sleeping Beauty’.
In groups, we annotated what we already knew about the fairytale. We focused on characters, beginning, dilemma, how the dilemma is solved and the ending.
We then watched a video telling the tale of Sleeping Beauty. We used what we saw in the video to then act our parts of the tale in groups. We used brilliant expression, drama and narrative skills.
Over the next couple of weeks, we will be preparing to write our own narrative of the tale.
