This afternoon, Year 6 took part in Muddy Monsters in Forest School.
At the beginning of the session, Phil told the children they would be taking part in making Phil a new mallet for outside. He explained to make this, the children would use a piece of new green wood from the part of a tree and would be learning how to use a bow saw. He then talked to the children about how to use the saw with the raker blades safely.
The rest of the session involved exploring Forest School; cooking brownies and triple chocolate cakes, making a zip line and building dens as a team.
