in R.E we gave been learning about a community project called Umuganda in Rwanda, where every month the whole community gather together to take care of their environment cleaning and caring for their village. When the community gathers this build the foundations for respect, responsibility , empathy and stewardship of shared spaces. We thought about how we could carry out our own class Umuganda and care for our school environment. We worked hard tidying, cleaning, making bird feeders and making posters to show how we can care for our wonderful world.
