In Maths this week we have focused on Number Lines.
We have looked at starting and end points of number lines and learnt how to work out how much each interval is worth.
In today’s lesson, the children worked in partners to complete missing number lines. The first task was to fill in the missing number lines. The intervals counted in 1’s and the children had to find the correct missing number on each of the lines and write it in the box. The second task was to create their own number lines. The children used 100 squares to fill in the intervals. They communicated with each other to work out what number comes before and after.
