On Monday 26th September, we celebrated European Languages Day. Mr Dunnigan and Mrs Fraser led a whole-school assembly about what European Languages Day is and why language learning is important for our communication with and tolerance and understanding of others, for our education and for our future life opportunities. Then, each class explored nursery rhymes and traditional tales in Italian during shared reading time. We learnt some key vocabulary in Italian and enjoyed listening to familiar nursery rhymes and traditional tales in another language.
