Today was a very special day for Year 4 as some of us received communion for the very first time. We started our day with a lovely service led by Rev. Yvonne. We listened to a bible reading and prayers read by our friends before we were presented with our special certificates and gifts. We finished the service by performing a liturgical dance to ‘In Christ Alone’ which was absolutely fantastic. After the service, all of our parents and carers were invited to our classroom to celebrate with us with lots of special treats! To end our special morning, we went up to forest school as a class for a dance in the sunshine! Congratulations to all the Year 4 children who were received their first holy communion today and thank you to all parents and carers for attending our special service.
