In English, we have read ‘The Tunnel’ by Anthony Browne. We read and responded to the text by making predictions on what could be in the tunnel. We also worked in pairs and looked at a model text to highlight some of the adventurous vocabulary we could find. Finally, we worked in small groups to describe the setting based on an image from the book using expanded noun phrases and have used this to draft, edit and write a setting description.
