In year 6 this half term, our topic in PE is football. The children have focused on keeping control of the ball and dribbling at different tempos to get free from a defender. They have identified the correct shooting technique to use in different situations and worked together as a team to be successful.
Fair play is a key focus of each lesson. Over the next few weeks the children will be given the opportunity to make decisions and officiate some small matches. This highlights the importance of communication, teamwork and resilience throughout our lessons.
