Children explored toys from the past. Year One thoroughly enjoyed playing and examining the toys. Children commented on the purpose of the toy and if it was entertaining. Children sorted a range of toys into ‘Our Grandparent’s toys’ and ‘Our Toys’ using the language ‘then’ and ‘now.’ They shared their likes and dislikes of the toys. Children noticed some toys are still popular and loved today such as Rubik’s cube and Barbie.
