Our trip to the Gurdwara

On Thursday, Year 3 went on a very special trip to a local Gurdwara as part of our RE topic: What does it mean to be a Sikh in Britain today?
While we were there we were given a tour of the building, learnt lots about Guru Nanak and the Guru Granth Sahib and some of us even tried on a real Sikh turban. We finished our trip by going into the Diwan Hall where we were able to see the Guru Granth Sahib being read. We all really enjoyed our visit to the Gurdwara, it was fantastic to see lots of the things we have been learning about in our RE lessons in real life.
